in my lifetime, because even though this movie is bad,bad acting, bad effects, etc it isnt the worst movie I have ever seen..I have seen many bad horror movies, but the one most recent that was much worse than this was a movie called Arachnia..I can promise you that that movie makes this one Oscar worthy LOL ~~~Happiness is nothing more than good health and a bad memory~~~
I've seen both SCARECROW and ARACHNIA myself, but I don't know that I can say I enjoyed either one. I give props to ARACHNIA for using stop-motion spiders (nice retro feel there) instead of going for digital effects, but that's where the praise starts and stops. SCARECROW gets faint praise for the opening scenes (Tim Young as Lester Dwervick really stood out and I felt for the character), but once the soul-to-Scarecrow transfer takes place, things commence to suck REAL hard.
Have you seen TAILSTING? It's a really bad movie about an airplane infested with giant scorpions. In this case, though, it's a so-bad-it's-good scenario. I laughed out loud several times. In one cargo-hold scene, you can actually see a cameraman standing in plain sight in the corner for several minutes!
i just watched scarecrow this morning and i have a love/hate relationship with it. I hated the acting, i loved the fact after the guy gets his heart ripped out he is still breathing it must of been a long 45 seconds playing dead.I hated how Lester looked like he was early 30s, i loved how scarecrow killed a guy with a piece of corn. I would say watch this if you want a good laugh at bad film making.
I taped this off the SciFi Channel and just watched it yesterday. It was one of those thumb twiddling movies, you sit there watching it idly, hoping it gets better, but it never does. The only consolation was that the girls were easy on the eyes.
Saw it last night... And all I can say is that I was never bored, the girls were hotter then hell, and... Taking into account this flick was shot in 8 days on a shoestring budget, I think this film is pretty damn fun. So There. >:o)
