In my opinion, David Wenham should win every major actors award for the role of Johnny 'Spit' Spitieri. He was absolutely bloody brilliant. The court scene (ie. Who's paying my bus fare today?) was so funny, my sides were in stitches.
All the filmakers of Australia rejoice and give Wenham more of these comedic roles.

Not Sure Where ur from mate, but i'm from Aus, and David Wenham got the top Acting Award in aus for 'spit'. Just cant remember the name of the award, it was at the AFI's though!

Just saw the movie. Quite average but made me laugh a few times. The best part was in the court and the best part there was with Wenham.Great performance overall from Wenham.Realy.
Btw Hendrix is'nt God but taken away by him early because he was to much a gift to us sinners.
