rated R?
it says that it's rated R for a "sexual reference." man, i've seen more mature movies that are rated PG!

I was baffled by that as well. I just watched the DVD, and there's nothing in it that wouldn't be shone on prime-time TV.
Why does this have a rating at all? It wasn't released theatrically.
So what is this "sexual reference" that it is rated R for? Does it say the "C" word or something?
shareThat's a very good question. No, it doesn't use the "C" word -- either of them. Nor, as I recall, does it use any of the "P" words or even the "D" word. There are some references to Johnny and Sarah's relationship before the accident, but it all seems very USA Original Movie to me.
Can anyone answer why this would be rated R, or why it was even submitted to the MPAA for a rating?
