I rented the first season Dead Zone. It is NOT the full first season! I was expecting a FULL first season on DVD. I'm glad I didn't buy it. It's....what? The first 3 episodes? Will they make a DVD with ALL the episodes?
shareThe full season comes with two discs. I thought it was all on the one i bought but I was wrong because it onlywas 3 episodes! I was so angry! But there is a 2 disc or box set series that was them all! :)
shareActually I own the complete full season, and the version I have, anyway, is a four disc set. There's 13 first season episodes if I can remember and 3 or 4 episodes on each disc.
I'm anxiously awaiting the 2nd season DVD release which is scheduled for either June 6 or 8th I believe. There are 19 episodes in season two, and I've only seen about 6 or 7 of them so it'll be great to get caught up.

Anyways this is absolutely correct, most rental stores that let you rent shows only provide one disc per box so they can maximize the fee for renting the whole thing. Not really worth it, especially if a local Mom and Pop store has the season you're looking for.
Dead Zone, by example...has all the seasons (minus the sixth which I haven't found locally) at under 8 bucks a piece. Just bought the first three seasons to catch on something from...wow...YEARS ago...
Researching Anthony Michael Hall brought me to this board though, not the official Dead Zone board on IMDB I don't think ;>_>
