What's the story?

Besides the fact that it's a musical, info on the premise is scarce. Does anyone know what is going on with the story?

Side note: It's grrrrrrreat to see RENT's original Mark, Anthony Rapp, getting more film work. Not that he doesn't keep busy with the stage. : )
