A lot needed to be explained like how did June lived with humans, didn't anyone give her a phyiscal examination? How do you change a bar-filled-with-horny-bikers into a family resturant?

I have been working on a mermaid series where a mermaid and a navy seal worked together as a team to protect the environment and to keeping the mermaid secret a secret. The mermaids and mermen are not always beautiful only when they are in protective mode, they developed shark like features with sharp teeth, sharp claws and mighty strength.

It was intended as the pilot for a TV series but it never got picked up. So that's why there's a lot that could be explained

June has a human body unless she goes back in the water. If she needs a physical examination then there's nothing suspicious

Betty would change the bar by closing it down for a few weeks then reopening it up with new marketing and design. Once the bikers see there's no dancing mermaid in the aquarium, they'll find another place
