I was a big fan of "Troy" when it came out in the movie theatres. When "Helen of Troy" was going to be shown on tv, I wanted to see it, but i'm afraid I missed out on it. Anyways, I was thinking about renting "Helen of Troy" on dvd, and I was wondering if it would be worth renting?

shareHelen of Troy is a bland, characterless butchery of the story with a scrawny actress in the main role. Paris and Menelaus are played so badly they could be interchangeable. Achilles is a bald-headed travesty! Fit only for a very late timeslot on the Hallmark Channel! The only thing that saves it is the devastating performance of Rufus Sewell as Agamemnon. As for the rest...escapees from B grade telemovies...yes, including Sienna!
