shareis it just me or does TS 3 pale in comparison to TS 2. I think EA screwed this one up, just as they did the James Bond shooters and any other 1st person shooter they've handled. Damn, and I was so looing forward to the newest timesplitters. 1 and 2 were excellent... this one is just... well, kinda weak

yeah, the story mode has a plot now, but other than that I think the game has suffered a lot. Arcade mode is a lot weaker, as is the overall gameplay. The weapons dont feel right either when you fire them. And the AI seems like a bunch of dumb drones. The games not as colorful and sharp as the past ones were either.
shareI finished the game in 10 hours, I am not happy that the next levels don't have extra tasks. The story is brilliant, it does a complete revolution which is good. It is not better than Halo 2. It is however far better than TS 2.
shareThe story is better than TS 2 in many regards but I actually think I prefer the levels in TS 2 to TS 3. They were more fun, ranging from south american jungles and the wild west to wars in the distant future. Arcade mode was 100X better in TS2 than in TS3, and the eariler games in the series had more style and vibrance. TS 3 is a good game, but its weaker than its predecessers. It is, however, better than Halo 2. I can't believe people like that game... nothing has changed from the 1st Halo other than the levels, and it takes 5 hours to beat. It's a rip off and a cheap expansion. 3 years and bungie couldn't even add one new weapon???
shareone thing that i don't feel they needed was the . don't get me wrong i love gore but the thing is my parents won't let me play M rated games and after all the waiting i did i felt kind of cheated.

I agree... they didn't need the blood. For some reason they felt they needed to make the game darker.. I don't know why, I thought it was an amazing game before. The gore really is unnecessary and just something you don't expect after playing the past games. I wonder if EA has anything to do with all the bad changes... they ruined the Bond shooter games, now they're ruining TS

I've played Future perfect and returned it. Not only because it was a bad game but because i beat it so quick i was able to return it in 7 days and get my refund, now i am the proud owner of Deus Ex: Invisible war a game a hundred times better than this particular item. For those of you who say this game is better than halo... that might be your opinion but when halo 3 and TS4 come rolling around you can bet that the former will sell thousands more than TS4
My only regret is that i have but one life to waste on video games.
