Splinter Cell Trilogy on PS3 - Review

I bought the Splinter Cell Trilogy on PS3 two weeks ago and played through the whole thing. It's even better than what I remembered!

First off, the HD remastering looks awesome. It's nice to see all three of these games in widescreen with a decent visual boost. The games included in this trilogy were ported from the PC versions, so the graphics look noticeably better than the older xbox or ps2 versions. Gameplay wise, there really isn't any difference between these versions and the older ones. It's the same great gameplay, nothing has changed. The only major downsides are: Multiplayer modes aren't included, there is no y-axis invert (a small minority of gamers may be disappointed), and extra missions like "Kola Cell" weren't included either. Other than that, these games are just like the originals but with a nice new face lift.

All three games for under $40 is a pretty good deal if you ask me.

Rating: 8.5/10
