I think that David Paymer did an excellent job in this movie. I know it can be easy to forget about him when handsome Ryan is on the screen but I had to give him credit for doing a great job. I found him incredibly enjoyable in this movie. Anyone else liked him in this movie too? Just wondering.

shareI actually was blown away by how good of a performance I found in this film back when it was new. I mostly watched it because of Reynolds who was someone I was having an eye on to become a rising star, but Paymer who I did not recognize since earlier (but had actually seen in many minor roles) really surprised me and had me look the actor up. Was not at all surprised with the actor having an Academy Award nom on his C.V.
