I think that the Happening would have made more sense if everybody was killing themselves immediately after hearing the sound track to this movie. This music is what nails on a chalk board would consider to be the worst sound ever.
Overall I think the movie is funny, but somebody put the sound guy out of his misery. PLEASE!

I'm with you, except for the mass suicides and execution. It really would have made such a dramatic difference if it had a proper score and soundtrack. If it had been picked up in the States for a theatrical or even a premiere on a major network channel, they would have done that and maybe tightened the film up so it went at a better pace.
Some Canadian movies are so needlessly melodramatic and silly and they don't seem to be aware of it. Guess you could call it a cultural thing.
