For anyone who knows what it's like to teach kids, anyone who runs a class like Mr. D would get run over by his students, regardless of how interesting the class was.
Students are generally a lot more obnoxious than in the movie.

shareTotally agree. I remember my first year teaching and having lax rules; even though I was the "chill" teacher, the kids had brought out a very different person by second quarter. They need boundaries. Hollywood just loves to romanticize that type of learning environment
