Um.....Is It Suposed to do that?

ok...i played FF III then F II and yesterday i bought FF I~i was late because this game isn't popular in here
but anyhow when i start the game a scene comes up in black and white that shows people dead on the ground and a hole opening ...and a man holding a rope.
when i find the memo upstairs the same scene shows up again
and when miku finds the camera obscura on the ground the same scene came again.
i stopped playing that game and returned it for that reason,so my question is:is that scene supposed to show up in these places...or not?

i can't remember it's been a while since i've seen it.
you may have had a faulty copy i recomend you go buy it again.

it's the main plot of the game so does show a few times.

Okay, when you went upstairs and then found the camera. Did you see the scene and then had a ghost attack you? I mean, walk up to camera, pick up, movie scene, back to you with your back to camera and ghost behind you? No showing you how the camera works? Do you see any other scenes besides the rope hole one?

It now became apparent (despite the lack of library paste)that something had happened to the vicar;

it was a long time ago so I can't remember well...

after he goes upstairs...he finds a camera and a notebook(I think...) then that same scene comes up again!

it came up for 4 or 3 times in a row then i had enough...I gave the game back...maybe its just a bad copy

Well, sort of.

The intro movie that plays (if you turn on the game and just let it sit there) is pretty much the same thing you get when you actually start a new game.

When you start, you play a Prologue chapter as Mafuyu, and you get a scene like the one you described at the end of the first hallway (with the ropes, and the large mirror at the end.)

When you start again "for real," as the girl, you play through that same location, and you get a similar cut scene at that same location.

So, maybe it wasn't the same thing three times, but I can see why it would seem that way.

Hey lolly kop:

It's a flashback sequence of what happened in the village before the plot of the game - basically ( I forgot what they called it) the ritual literally unleashed hell on All God's Village, leading to ritual mass murder and ghosts. That's why the village in the game is haunted and cursed.

this is about Part 1 not 2 :P

And it sounds like a bug, those cut scenes should all be different.
