Ironic...

Tron was visionary and ahead of its time, and its writer/director, Steven Lisberger, paid dearly for its failure to "find" its audience. (The only other project he was ever able to get off the ground was "Slipstream" in 1989.) The man created a classic and he deserved a better fate...

Robert Meyer Burnett, who directed The Making of 'Tron', is also the writer/director of Free Enterprise. I don't know that you'd call that film "visionary" or "ahead of its time", but damn, it's clever, likable, and entertaining, and yet the man is relegated to making documentaries about others' work?

Unfair... Ironic - and unfair...
