House Fires - Smoke

When are the writers of film scripts - and directors - going to learn something about house fires?

I had a kitchen fire once and within minutes there was smoke evrywhere except for about a foot off the floor - I crawled out thru that.

In this film and hundreds of others - houses are ablaze for lengthy times and people are walking around like a day at the beach.

True, the house should have been thick with smoke. But a whole lot of action takes place we wouldn't have been able to see if it was smoky.
