any tips? it's harder than on the console b/c the controller vibrates and helps you know when to pull in the fish. Either i pull in too early or the fish gets my bait. :(

put the sound on when you are fishing and when the fish keeps going towards the rod listern for the gulp sound and look out for the water splashing up. as soon as this happens press the A button straight away or the fish will get away. hope this helps.

Yeah like the others said, have the sound on. Just as soon as your bait goes underwater, pull it up. It took me a few goes to get it spot on, then after that it becomes easy :)
some fish are a little harder though, like the sharks, they sometimes just grab it then swim off I have found
