Stumbled Upon This on Amazon

It's hard to find a decent television show, much less a 14 year old "reality" series, but this is a true gem. It easily stands the test of time given the setting. I found it to be very realistic, especially the psychological issues addressed. I know many others see it as staged, and it may well be, but if so, this is how to stage a reality program. Edgar is by far the best, stealing every scene. He and "Sir" John seem to have stepped right out of
Edwardian novel (as the protagonist and antagonist respectively). The early days of the romance between the younger kids shows how and why people of that day were so quick to "fall in love", having barely known one another. The Chef is fantastic and adds a much needed jolt of dark humour.

I too am watching this on Amazon. Having being a big fan of 1900s House, Frontier House and the like offered by PBS, this is as outstanding as the others. Really enjoying this series.
