Any of you find wierd how Chiyo-Chan couldn't bring the kitten home that Yukari found but, she could take mayaa? I just re-read volume one manga (AGAIN!!) and I was just thinkin why she could'nt. It cant be because of Mr. Tadakichi like she said because, she said he would'nt hurt mayaa because he's a "Perfect gentleman." I just want to know what ya'll thought about this.

I'm not sure why the continuity wasn't there, but it could be possible that Chiyo-Chan knew how much Maya meant to Sakaki. This would prompt her to make every possible effort to ensure Maya had a home.
