Little bummed

I finished watching Ai Yori Aoshi and Ai Yori Aoshi Enishi. I've rewatched all the DVDs obsessively (I'm totally in love with Kaoru's English voice, he sounds so sweet)

Anyway, I was a little bummed that it ended without saying anything about Kaoru and Aoi's future....will they get married ever?

I don't mind the "harem" part, quite frankly. It makes for funny moments and it also makes me appreciate the times when Aoi and Kaoru are alone. I just wish I knew what happens to them in the end.

By the way, does anyone have any anime to recommend, based on the fact that I like Ai Yori Aoshi?

Love Hina, Ah! My Goddess (either the tv show or the 5 episode direct to disc show), Tenchi, and Please Teacher are all great.

Another great one is Maison Ikkoku, the only 2 downsides to it is that it's pretty old as anime goes (mid-late 80s) and it clocks in at 96 episodes. The manga is was based on was written by Rumiko Takahashi, the same woman who created Inuyasha and other well known anime/mangas

Also any Studio Ghibili film is worth seeming and you might enjoy.

Another good show is Azumanga Daioh, it doesn't have any real romance, but it's very funny. Hope that helps.

I'd recommend the Ah! My Goddess TV show over the OVA. The latter skips like crazy and the music and voice aren't as good. The movie is good too.

I highly recommend School Rumble. I'm not really into anime, but this show was something special. The humor was easy to identify with, which is rare because a lot is lost in translation. Watch it subtitled

And there are two whole seasons, with a third possibly coming out due its popularity, so you won't feel short-changed like with AYA. I think it's possible to catch all of School Rumble on YouTube, but since Google bought it, I think they've been cracking down on 'em

OK I thought the sex scene was pretty explicit. Not that it bothered me, though.

Most things get better when I kick them.
