Virgil, Zach, Greg

I became a huge Greg Lee fan when he played Virgil on Xena, and then Zach on Dark Angel. He seems to mostly play dark brooding characters, This movie seemed to be the exception, until he turned into the faux-werewolf. I liked the scene where he starts making money, buys a Bose sound system, and is walking down Wall street with his new golf hat and $200 sunglasses. I don't particularly care for those cell phones with earpieces, they're fine if you're driving, but if you're just walking down the street it just looks like you're talking to yourself. New York seemed really small in this film, though. And how come he stayed in his original ratty apartment once he started making his money? Not that the apartment was that bad, in fact, it probably set him back $1500 a month, how did a recent college graduate afford something like that in the first place?

He didn't switch apartments cause they couldn't afford to rent a bigger one for this film. And he didn't buy a bose sound system, he bought a bose remote, lol. You think they could afford a bose sound system as well as pay Eric Roberts salary for this movie? No Way! Haha. Oh yea and New York seems small when you only film on one street. Too Ghetto... lol.

Lol, good one!

No highs...no lows...must be BOSE.

I was abut to say i mean i was thinking hey if he buys all this stuff why is he still taking the train and walking to work

reply

Everyone in NYC takes the train and walks to work. There's no parking, and real estate's too expensive to pay for both rent and a car payment.

Sure, everybody takes the trains to work. But if the Wolfe Bros. brokerage was the most elite on Wall Street, I'm sure they could've gotten a limo to show who was the most elite and powerful on Wall Street. They also could've put Jeff (or whatever the lead's character's name) in a high rise apartment in Battery Park City or one facing Central Park. I guess they really had a small budget, or this film could have been better.

Goldman Sachs, the most powerful firm on Wall ST doesnt even do that with their employees. Most first-third year employees live in the financial district and walk to work. In that aspect it was pretty dead on.
