I just saw 3 episodes of this series on tv yestersday and i love this show. I just found out that there are 4 seasons of this show but the dvd is only released in the uk. Does anyone know when a version for the US will be availible? I'd really like to buy the whole series. SHOWTIME only showed the 1st 3 episodes of season 1 and i'm hooked and wanna see more!!! Someone HELP!!!

godboldn according to www.tvshowsondvd.com william & mary will be released in the united states on july 17, 2007. image entertainment is releasing season 1 on a 3 dvd set for $39.99 (prices are usually cheaper than posted, also tvshowsondvd posted this info on their website today 4/22/07). hope this helps!!

This has been confusing and frustrating to me but I think I understand what is going on now.
I also came across this on Showtime and loved it.
The frustration enters when I believe that a three disc set is the same as a three season set. This three disc set (for Region 1) contains twelve episodes and is 537 minutes long. It ends with the birth of the baby.
Now that someone has posted descriptions of the last 6 episode season, I think I understand this a little better. The complete 18 episodes, or three seasons, run about 832 minutes. Or maybe 934 minutes when the "behind the scenes" featurette is added.
This three season set is not available for Region 1 (please correct me if I'm wrong!). If I want to see the last season I need to get a "region free" DVD player and track down the set that is sold on Amazon UK.
Well at least there is more to see! I'm looking forward to seeing it sometime in the future. This program really touched me and had me in tears both times I saw it.
What a scam with the different regions though.

Actually, there are only three seasons. I wish it had gone on a bit longer, but then again, Mary became insufferable...
