The best part of this movie is..

..every time the dude with the hat was on screen for the first 80% of the film.. pulling at least 8 or 10 guns out of nowhere, doing matrix-style moves, punching fish, headbutting a zombie twice, etc. I was laughing my ass off every time that guy was on screen cause they kept taking it further over the top, kinda wish the rest of the movie was like that.

The best part of this movie for me was taking it out of my dvd player, putting it into it's netflix sleave and envelope, and pouring myself a drink to try to forget what I had just viewed.

I like how the film never really took itself too seriously. There were serious moments but the funny ones seemed to fit perfectly...even in realy life $hit happens that'll make you laugh in the most inappropriate of moments.

My favorite scene is where the heroine is in the house with the guy (with the hat) and there's someone banging on the door. The way he slowly walks over, raises his gun to shoot and hot chick pokes her head around like in some cartoon! I loved it when I first saw it and I still giggle now!

All in all the movie was good...I saw the trailer one night and waited patiently for it to be on dvd. It's in my collection and I pop it in the dvd player from time to time. Not as goofy as Shaun of the Dead but a little lighter than Romero's zombie movies and their remakes.

How can one not love the slugging of the zombie fish? I know that's an image that will stay with me.

I give this movie good-will points; it's not a feature from a major studio--it's a low-budget indie. It should be judged on that basis. Sure, not all the acting was top-notch; the tone was uneven; there were derivative elements. (But then, virtually all movies have derivative elements.)

It was entertaining, for what it was.
