Was This A Pilot For a TV Show?

Buddy, I sure hope so. My wife and I thought that this is going to be another one of those movies where you feel sorry for the girl and somehow she recoops from her illness, but is taken advantage by the doctor. Well, boy were we surprised. This movie absolutely BLEW US AWAY! It was to say the least, FANTASTIC - and I gota tell you, making a TV show, in our opinion is going to be better then anything out there today! My wife and I actually thought that this might have been one of those movies that hit the theaters and just passed us by. Again- what a truly unbelievable performance by all actors as this movie sure kept us on the edge of our seats. I hope this becomes a series- we're going to write USA. JL

atcually i heard that it started off as a series but didnt go well....so the writers decided to make it a movie instead...its a shame...it could have been a greaet series...

ps :i just watched it yesterday..it was great

It was a very good movie, though the climax was a little weak. I wish USA had run with it. There were great performances all around, and the writing was superlative.

Thoughtcrimes was made around the same time as Touching Evil. USA had a choice between the two series and chose Touching Evil instead, but opted to air Thoughtcrimes as a movie. Turns out maybe it was a bad choice with Touching Evil being cancelled.
