I Need Help Please!!!

Is there anyone out there who can get me a copy of the DVD release of "Thoughtcrimes" I know that in Europe it was released on DVD and I would like to find someone who can get me a copy. I live in the US and it is not released here. I have a multi-regional player so compatibility is not a problem. I would really love to have this wonderful movie on disk to add to my collection. I fell in love with this movie the first time on the USA NETWORK. If you can do this e-mail me and we can arrange a trade. Here is my e-mail address: [email protected] .

If you haven't already found it, check Amazon and/or eBay. They recently seem to always have the region 2 disc. If you can't find it on Amazon.com, then try Amazon.com.uk Like you, I also wish it were on region 1 NTSC formating.

Where can you buy a dvd player in the states that will play those region 2 dvd's?

Really? HEre it never works like that. I have a computer and Laptop, but it only played other region DVDs a couple of times adn then it doesn't work anymore.

Philips makes several models of dvd players that play multi-region discs. dvp 3140,5140, 5982, 5990, 5192 to name a few. There's a code to make them region 0 without having to "spike" them every time. I have the 5140 and 5982 models. Both are great and the 5982 has HDMI and upconversion. Go to amazon.com and look up the models. Some people have also added reviews telling you how to permanently change the region setting. It's not listed in the manual however. Amazon sells them or you can try craigslist for your particular location.
