That seems to be the general word on the street about it. It was an excellent movie - it aired on irish TV over the weekend. I think it would have had 'legs' for a series... possibilities with telepaths working for the bad guys, telepaths who look down on normals (similar to Babylon 5), bad guys who can block\mislead teeps.

But even if the ship has sailed on a series, a sequel TV movie\movies would be great I think.

They were definitely setting up ongoing storylines, you never found out exactly why the Doctor was involved with telepathy for one and they hinted that the Russian assassins could be back.

A couple of tv movies would be really cool.

That's what I thought too. I saw it when I was in teh US a few years ago.

Yeah, with the way it faded to black at regular intervals it was clearly a pilot, although the production values were obviously high. It was a good film, but I don't know how long they could have kept it interesting as a series if it had been picked up.

Yes, it could have been a pilot....it`s a tv-movie....so it could be.
Look at the open ending......a part 2 is recommended for me.....isn`t it??

I just saw it and believed it was a pilot for a new series. It was surprisingly good and could totally be a very good series.

USA had to chose between this and another pilot. Both were similar and it's obvious they didn't pick thoughtcrimes. Shame on them, because the other series was cancelled. I still hope that it will be made into a show, but I don't think the same actors will be in it (like the awful Painkiller JAne)
