I think the word "christian", should not be used to describe a good person anymore.

I hear 'Christian' and I think, cruel, non inclusive, hate mongering, finger pointing, self-righteous........ I could go on.

These attrocities were committed by the Catholic church not the Christian faith. Try not to be so misguided.

Wow, so all us Christians are hate mongering, cruel, noninclusive, finger- pointing, and self righteous? Cool. First off, that article is about Catholicism not all Christians. 2nd , there is over 2 billion Christians in the world. I'm sure all of them aren't what you described them as, but of course when I decided to be a Christian, it was because I was full of hate, like to point my finger, and I am self rightous. One of the most ignorant things I've read, and that is saying something, since I'm from Alabama.

I admit what happened here was outragous, digusting and evil on every level, but its unfair of you to classify all Christians as bad people. There are bad people in every walk of life.

I just wrote in another thread that Hollywood is always more tame when it comes to violence. They have to focus on one person in the movies so they can drive the point home. Just telling a bunch of different stories doesn't really do that(unless you're a heck of a writer/director).

I spent my entire childhood growing up. What a waste.

The word 'Christian' describes a follower of Christ's teachings. And only that. Christ did not advocate the rape of little boys, and neither does any Christian. If a kiddie raper says he's a follower of Christ, he's lying. Sorry, but you don't have to be a rocket scientist to realize that. If Bill Gates went around calling himself a Socialist, you would not believe him, nor would you credit Socialists in general according to his character...so why make such a lowbrow, ignorant assumption with Christians???

Answer: a hater is rarely satisfied with hating alone or quietly...
