The Mayor Of Casterbridge

This movie, especially the start, was just a simple retelling of the classic Thomas Hardy novel a Mayor of Casterbridge. (I think I may have misspelled the last part, but, you know, its all good.)

This was the Hollywood version which ends on a good note. Mayor is a tragedy.
