I have one more question

i have watched the film in german, so i don't know what the characters say in spanish. fact is, in the german version Ramón say to the cops, 'i took her to my house and killed her'. was this said in the original, and if yes, then why would he say that.

we assume, that Ramón DID kill Laura, and his aim IS to get out of the HQ unharmed. does he have any reason to tell the cops that he killed Laura? If yes, what is it? (i know, i know, he is disguised as a serial killer...)

p.s.: what kind of professor is he? sorry, i started to watch it from there when Laura is already tied to the chair and they play the game 'for her eyes'.

oh, did you watch it on Vox last night?

I can't remember him saying that he killed her. what I recall is that he said he abducted her, not aggressively, although that's what he actually did, but that he held her captive in his basement.

he is a professor for philosophy in aesthetics.

and what do you think about the plotholes mentioned in one of 'user comments'?

I agree with his two points. he kind of withdrew his third argument already.
it actually didn't make any sense for Laura to give any sign of her life, if he wanted to see him in jail. another question would be if the police officers are not educated enough to differentiate a cut message from a genuine one.
then, I agree with his point 2.A), not B) though. sure, it wasn't told in the film, but he claims to have made up being the killer. so he tells the police he is not the killer. the mistake is that he said he made the serial killer up, so what he should've said is that he pretended to be the murderer (for his wife).
what Zev is talking about is what Espinosa wanted to get out of Ramon's questioning. but we can assume that he didn't said anything about any other murder, that's why they let him leave. in fact he only described a few, like the child he left at the gas station. on the other side, that one also could've been made up, so he doesn't describe his actual murders to the police, he also doesn't say he knocked out Laura, so how do we know, if he told them about the real murders.

the police don't even consider him being a serial killer (not THE serial killer, since they aren't sure yet, if there are connections between the cases at all)

the first clue would be the video tape (sort of 'playing the game' with the police, too as with Laura) which is obviously from him
