Does this movie have...

Does this movie have any animal cruelty scenes in it? Like anyone killing an animal or torturing it, or scenes of animals being slaughtered for meat, etc.?

I haven't seen this movie, so no plot spoilers please!!

Thanks!

Yes, there is one rather graphic scene involving a fowl.

Just to clarify for those who wouldn't otherwise be aware: all the "apparent" action is simulated. Movie magic. No animals are actually harmed. The animals which appear to be in danger or hurt were from taxidermists or the prop shop. Clever editing made it look real.

(Not that it makes it any easier to watch, of course)

Ummmm....do you know if they used anything to enhance Perry's (Tom Guiry) size-like when they were down at the river in the white briefs? Yes I know, the question is shameless…*sigh*…but…

reply

Heh. No, it was "all him."

reply

Damn...I wonder if that was in the original script, or they thought they would make use of his...ummm...endowment?

reply

That is actually one of the few scenes which was essentially duplicated from Fishbelly White, so I imagine it was just shot that way.

reply

That's a good point, as the scenes were in both movies. Well, I guess I have to be content that Quiry has a rather large banana.;-)

a rather large banana.

I would definitely like a taste of that banana.

omg I can't believe I wrote that...

Cute;-) Macaulay is my addiction however-I'd like to delve in between his buns....

What I find most amazing is that little Tom Guiry played Scott Smalls in "The Sandlot" all those years only to GROW up to play seemingly "bigger-than-average" rapist Perry in this gem of a film. "The Mudge Boy" is definitely one of those films that sticks in your mind days (weeks?) after you've seen it.

reply

LOL...absolutely! I didn't find out little, cute "Smalls" was the rapist Perry in "The Mudge Boy" until long after seeing the movie.

I have a movie favorite called "The Empire of The Sun" made about '87. I saw it again just the other day, so I went into IMDb to see who the boy 'Jim' was and if he went on in his career. Holy sh*t, but if it wasn't Christian Bale!! And he popped up again last night for me in "Velvet Goldmine" as a wanking teen sorting out his sexuality.....wow, small world indeed. I thought his performance as Batman and in "The Prestige" was excellent as well. I never thought of myself as his 'fan' before, but I don't think I really have any choice.;-),
