Very predictable ending

I thought before they even started that last game he was going to bunt and miss his 300th hit so it would show that he actually was a team player and not just faking it.

It was still a better ending then if he had gotten his 300th hit.

Overall ok movie. Not great, but enjoyable.

They could have let him have it.

i didn't pick it until it was about to happen. i wonder if the OP picked it 5 minutes in, or maybe 10?

not sure about the opposing team's tactics of treating the first base hit as the priority when T-Rex was well on his way to third and heading home. i guess stranger things have happened in this game.

Same here actually. I was pretty sure that he wasnt going to get his 3000, but that he would be inducted into Hall Of Fame in another way.

Still a pretty entertaining movie.

I did think that Stan Ross (Bernie Mac) would do something to help the team that might prevent him from getting his 3,000 hit. I actually thought he would take the walk.

Anyway, I think any ending would have been predictable to some people. You either get the hit or you don't.

I hate posters that claim they knew the ending right away. BS

I was thinking maybe Pelebaker would hit an in-the-park home run- but stop at 3rd intentionally to give Ross the chance to hit him home.

I did not see a SAC bunt coming. and be honest neither did you.

I guarantee if he actually did get that 3000th hit, everyone would say THAT was predictable too.
