For the US version? The British one was more than perfect (not only because the ''new'' Dylan clearly is modelled a little after the features of his voice's owner). Don't hear Johnny's voice as Dylan's. Not really.

Nope, sorry, I wouldn't like to see Depp as Dylan. Bill Nighy all the way, mate. I'm indifferent towards Depp... but I do have an immense love for Bill.

Eric Thompson original English version one was revoiced a few years ago by Nigel Planer who was excellent.
He did a very good Dylan without slipping into Neil from the Young Ones.
Bill Nighy rocks socks. He made a terrific Dylan. I think Johnny Depp could have been alright, but it would have been too much like Jack Sparrow (which is all very well, but not great for a character to just sound like another one).
