Seriously what's the point? This was so effin boring and i am indeed an old and OLDSCHOOL horror nerd that loves 20's - 40's creeky dusty horror films. If Chaney had been a real vampire i might give half a crap.

Not sure if this is a true
story, or just a plot device - however, i've just watched the ITV drama 'Whitechapel'. It is based on using historical crimes to solve modern ones. They use genuine historical crimes for this.
This week they referenced the original of 'London After Midnight'. Apparently, the film was said to drive people mad, after one cinemagoer went on a killing spree after watching the film. Someone (think they said Tod Browning) then ensured that all copies of the film were gathered up and destroyed.
