OK I NEED HELP

Where Leprechaun Back In DA (da? oh god that just makes it sound so stupid) and Leprechain in DA (here we go again) spoofs our where they real horror genre? They sound like they r spoofs cuz seriously! "Leprechaun in DA hood?" Soi was it just a spoof or was it horror?

I was a big fan of the Lep. series until In DA hood came out. I thought it was stupid. 1-4 were the good ones (well 4 wasnt that great. 3 was the scariest)
