Why all the hatred?

Look, either you like campy horror or you don't. If you like movies like Jack Frost (not Michael Keaton), Killer Klownz From Outer Space, and Rabid Grannies, you'll love the Leprechaun series. If you actually thought The Ring was scary (or good, for that matter), forget it. So if you're not into this type of movie, OF COURSE you'll think the suck, just like I think Moulin Rougue sucks.

And let's not even compare Warwick's work in this to his work in the Harry Potter flicks. He was in those for what, five minutes? The Leprechaun isn't for everyone, but for those of us he is for, we absolutely love him! Warwick and only Warwick can pull this role off, and I think he deserves more mainstream attention, such as WWE run-ins, Oscar presenting spots, and guest roles on network shows. Charmed recently did an episode with a different Leprechaun and MAN was I disappointed!

That being said, on to Leprechaun 6. The premise is good enough, and I'm already psyched for it! The only thing that scares me is the bizarre "evens" curse - that is, parts 1, 3, and 5 were fantastic, but 2 and 4 were only ok. Here's to breaking the curse, and let's hope that even without Ice-T, the "Hood" concept is done as well as last time.
