The 1st-3rd leprechaun were good but now there makeing them horribile space sucked and in the hood was alright but why put him back in the hood? They already made there point in the hood now move on!!!!!!!

Part 5 was very profitable. That was the sole reason. This one is a very different take on the hood than the last one.

Thats because black people all of a sudden were interested in watching it because blacks were in the movie.

maybe they still had the rights to "Tha Hood" and couldn't get the rights to "Leprechaun Strikes In Da Ghetto"

Loved the first 3. 4 was watchable. I fell asleep through 5 and turned 6 off after 30 minutes.

They need to realise that not everyone's impressed with this 'hood' bollócks, never mind the embarassing so-called rapping.

Move on. For the love of God, I hope the next instalment goes back to basics.

What basics? Killing manchildren and attacking Jennifer Aniston? The basics of Leprechaun have always been very cheesy. I liked part 5 and 6. Part 4, I hated.

I'm not sure how big of a hit LEPRECHAUN IN THE HOOD was on video. I personally believe it was the worst film in the series. But in the early 2000's low-budget direct-to-video urban horror films were obviously quite profitable. There were many that were released at the time. This new LERPRECHAUN was no exception.

However that seems to have died down. It a 7th film with Warwick Davis had been made, who knows where he would've ended up. Warwick hoped for a "Leprechaun of the Caribbean" film involving pirates.

I didn't really care for the second half of the series either. They weren't terrible, just not nearly as good as the first three.

YES...that would be good.....the Leprechaun is going after his gold stolen from other pirates. He could have dread locks.......wait...he already did Leprechaun in the hood....

Now, they could do Leprechaun in drag and call himself Tiffany......Now Chucky has something to play with :)
