Did anyone else notice?

I know this movie was full of plot holes, but I think the most glring one was that in the beginning they were diving into the area where the Spanish ship had sunk in the Atlantic Ocean, then later on in the movie he returns to the same area in the Pacific Ocean! I'm not sure that they actually mentioned that he moved to the west coast, but it is tipped off by all of the California liscense plates everywhere.

I also liked how they were able to talk to eachother underwater with respirators in thier mouths.

It's not a plot hole ! California was under the reign of Spain at this time, the ship just passed through the made-by-men passage between Atlantic and Pacific Ocean around South Mexico (don't remember the name). It wasn't said in the movie, that's why it's confusing for those who didn't know, but the Santa Cruz just sunk in Pacific Ocean, not Atlantic !

Then, I don't remember exactly how were their respirator masks, but some of them have the material for talking added inside. It's not totally incoherent if we suppose they have THESE kind of underwater respirator masks.

Wow, I didn't know all that stuff, thanks for the info. I liked the movie

well that's all fine and good, if it's true. but what about the fact that when the son is kidnapped, the van that the russians use has new york plates, they drive through the holland tunnell, the bus the kid is on has ny state plates, and it is clearly late fall outside, after hearing about the summer beach traffic all movie long. and then later on in the car chase, there are long style european plates on the suv in some shots, and then california plates in others. amazing! they drove 3000 miles across the country, went to freakin europe, and then goin back to cali, like ll cool j n' sh*t, all in like 8 minutes!

I only notice Brandi Sherwood, famous for her modeling work on The Price is Right. I've been a huge fan of that show since childhood, and I feel she should be a permanent model on the show. She's got everything to make me smile compared to the other wannabes on the show.

Did you notice in the boat when Wagner is going out to hunt for the Sharks with the beach bums that he is navigating off a map of Europe. The mediterranean, Italy, Sardinia, Sicily, Elba can all be seen. Great movie. If anyone watched this for serious entertainment then its your own fault for having any kind of hig expectations about the film,

I know you guys commented about this years ago, but the movie is playing on Syfy so here I am.

The regulators (not respirators) that the scuba guys were using were not the kind you could talk with. They would have had to have been full masks, which they weren't.

The funny thing about doing nothing is you're never quite sure when you're finished.

That in the beginning, after the first attack, when the main character is supposed to be in the water off the coast of San Francisco, a Soviet-era helicopter with military markings suddenly appears and rescues him?

Just the beginning of the signs that this movie was filmed in Bulgaria. Is it cheaper to move a whole filming crew and cast to eastern Europe than to film in California?

what I really hate is how people nit pick a movie to death.. so what if they got the ocean name wrong,, I didn't care,, I wanted blood, sharks, killing , and breasts,, and I got all 4 who really cares. it wasn't a DocoDrama.
are you going to bark all day little doggie,, or are you going to bite
