In the dream sequnce when aric sees dark as a vampire what does Dark mean by the line.
"I am the reason why Jack the Ripper was never caught, and i am the reason why you'll never be caught." after Aric asks him "who are you?"

Is it either:
A) Dark is an immortal vampire and he means that he killed Jack the ripper and now will kill aric. Thus the reason why they couldn't be caught.
or
B) Who dark is as a person and what he embodies, that being a ruthless random killing machine like Jack the Ripper, is what keeps people like Aric, Dark, and Jack from being caught by the police.
