Don't know what it is about this movie?

I just love it so much. I don't think it's anything great actually but it has some kind of vibe that works for me. Since I loved it so much I watched The Hitcher but it didn't do the same for me. I was wondering if anyone understands what i'm talking about and if there are any other movies to be recommended.

Ah yes, there's something about "road" movies isn't there? It's always fun to see cars dancing with the devil on a lonely two lane blacktop, it's not the acting that makes the movie, it's the driving. Is that kind of what you meant?

Yeah I guess, also the way the movie made it's villian completely dependent on his car. I really liked the idea that he couldn't do anything outside it but was so menacing inside it.

Vanishing Point could be a good shot.

i get what you mean. the use of a car as a muder weapon is a very frightening thing for it is an easily accessible weapon for anyone. by the way, speaking of suspenseful road movies, have you seen 'breakdown'? highly recommended.
