Good Release, poor track list

A very good taste of what the tour was actually like. Unfortunately too many songs were pulled from Holy Wood, which is probably his weakest release. Irresponsible Hate Anthem, and Rock is Dead are notable standouts. Ginger Fish's drums are more evident live during Great Big White World. Many great songs from Antichrist Superstar were replaced by weak songs like Cruci-fiction in space and the Death Song. Also, the g-string and corset gets a little old after awhile. Cake and Sodomy is briefly shown during the death parade featurete on the DVD release.

A must have for any manson fan, or anyone up for a solid hour of grotesque entertainment

I do think there could have been more to it, like more songs, but my major complaint is a lot of those songs were on the 'Last Tour On Earth' album. I'm sure he did some cool rare/earlier songs every now and again that were worth listening to. But that's just my opinion.

Holy Wood is, in my opinion, the top album of Mr Manson. I have them all, in original, and let's face it, any track doesnt compare to crappy songs like Tainted Love (wich, unhappily, is the most listened track among amateurs) or Personal Jesus. This is by far the most complete and intelligent work by Manson & co. Not only the tracks are very refined and most of them "pour les connaisseurs", but also Holy Wood implied other projects such as a book, a dvd and great artworks.
Of course, Antichrist Superstar is great, but i'm hearing that everyday, and i guess most people were marked by the resonance of the album or maybe because it had many singles, but let's compare a few tracks such as little horn, cryptochild, deformography, wormboy, mister superstar, kinderfeld (from A.S.) with tracks like the love song, disposable teens, the nobodies, lamb of god, coma black or the fight song.
My point is that every album represents a certain "era" in Manson's career, so we shouldn't say Holy Wood is "the weakest realease", because each of them are special and reflect a lot of things about different aspects.

I agree that the tracklist could be better but the show was amazing and the band was in top form.
