The people who rated this movie a 10 are dishonest...

...or just plain incapable of recognizing bad films when they see them.
I understand that folks want to "give God His props." I understand that the Rapture and the End Times is interesting stuff.
I understand how some Christians want to see God win and stick that under the noses of the heathens.
But the truth is, bad film-making is bad film-making, regardless of the subject matter.
These folks, who review this movie and give it a 10, etc. can't separate the subject matter from the craftmanship.
The subject matter may be worthy of a 10. But this film is so badly made- so badly written and directed, acted and technically produced, that it is worthy of a 1 or even less.
Let's be honest.
When you tell people this film is worthy of a 10, you are lying. And as Christians, we should be bastians of truth.
I can appreciate the heart with which someone does something, but intent doesn't make up for mediocrity.

I'm atheist but I still rate films such as these based on the overall technical and/or emotional aspect of the film. I've rated some religious films high. I gave Kingdom of Heaven (Director's Cut) 9/10. Lilies of the Field 10/10. The Ten Commandments (1923) 7/10. Etc., etc., I even gave a Documentary that was anti anything but Conservative Christianity a 7/10 because while I disagreed wholly with its message it still was very well put together and effective that I couldn't rate it any less.

But this film is crap all around, technically, emotionally, and especially in its view of atheists.
