Different Tribes

I was wondering about the Celts that came from different regions.

Though I am well aware of their numerous tribes,

I was wondering what Celtic regions the three sisters represented or if they were mostly the same region, but representing three different social classes of Celts.

One Peasant, Bee Keeper.

One Noble woman ( Though she did claim to be a warrior.)

One trained Killer.

I was just abit lost cause they spoke in normal english accents and there was the Gaul ( French Celt.) whom had the bleeding arm, and this thick French accent ( Right at the beginning of the movie.) and what I beleive to be a Cael ( A Scottish Celt.) who had thick spikey red hair and lots of spiral motifs on his face. ( Inside a pub, halfway through the movie.)

I ask this because, the people who are basically English speaking or sounding, were Britons or Angles. Was there such a thing as British Celts. Forgive me if this sounds like a dumb question. Now that I think of it maybe they were pure Bristish tribes living in the english speaking region or maybe they were the Irish Regional celts who roamed across the England as well. ( Though it would seem more likely that these were the Caels.) I would love to know what name they have been given like the Caels and the Gauls.

I also understand that this movie is largely a parody and not to be taken seriously.

The Celtic tribes who lived in Britain, up to the Scottish Highlands, where called Britons. They spoke British (AKA old Welsh, or Brythonic) The Anglo-Saxons did arrive until the fifth Century AD.

The Scots (Redheads) Are Picts, the ones Smirgut was with at the start were Brigantes

True but the tribes in different regions had individual names which the OP was wondering about.

Here's a link for anyone that wants to know about them:

the three sisters were just that Sisters, all three were Princesses of the same tribe from the same region, one went to live with the Briganties in the North, that tribe lived in the area close to where centuries later Hadrian would build his wall.

You are right this film is a comedy/parody, but it could have been a good action film if they had wanted to make it so, and the Celtic/British costumes were some of the best ever used in a film about the Celts.

The Angles & Saxons did not invade when the Romans were in Britain . Ancient Britains were pretty much Celtic , although the North was inhabited by Picts , who were a different breed who adopted a lot of Celtic culture . The thinking is that the Celts came to the British Isles & Ireland after the last ice age from Iberia . However the fierce Picts may have come from as far away as Sumeria ! Scots came later from Ireland . The Romans never got to grips with the Picts - instead preferring to build a number of walls . Mad times - there should be a movie made .
