What movies like these fail to recognize

is that the lead character needs to be someone we care about. I never cared what happened to the lead character because I could not stand him. That's ok in certain movies, but not in "romantic comedies."
Also, the title of the movie is meaningless, this guy is not a breakup artist.

I think the title is intended to be ironic. Nevertheless, this film is terrible. The performances are stiff and transparent AT BEST. The viewer can see in every scene that these are actors trying to make a scene happen. Nothing appears natural. Everything is forced. The dialogue is trying to be realistic and clever, but it's trite and flat.
The fact that it is low budget is far too obvious. The acting is terrible--cheap actors--and there obviously is not enough money for rehearsal time or the number of takes they need to nail a more natural take.
Putrid.
A good idea for a story, but terribly executed.
