Did anyone else think it was stretching credibility a little bit that this pawn shop owner really expected to pay Chubbs $5000.00 a month from his earnings at the pawn shop? Do pawn shosp really pull in that kind of money that he would be able to make a monthly payment like that?

its not very realistic in that if the old man owes him $25 000 that he would demand $5000 a week either. loan sharks juice you to death and want either the vig. probaby around 5% a week at the most or the entire principal 25K. realistically he would demmand no more than $1250 a week. if he asks his clients for too much at once hes just going to end up killin all of them and getting nothing or no one will borrow from him. and at the end nothing was resolved. the old guy didnt conquer his addiction to gambling and we dont know if the kid ever paid off chunks.
