What the heck was Magior doing with his magic mirror at the end?

Someone wrote in one of the reviews that Magior's magic mirror didn't seem to work too well anyway.

It looked like he revived only Isolda. And was it supposed to be an actual physical revival or merely spiritual? Since she was strolling amongst Romans who were making sure all the upstarts were dead by plunging swords into the bodies, I'd guess it was spiritual but geez the end was confusing (particularly when it seemed to contradict what little historical fact is known about situation in the first place.)

I didn't get it either. Some kind of hocus pocus done by celtic druids, I guess. But when isolda disappeared, I went, "riiight".

The dumb thing about this movie is that they showed celtic magic to be "real".

I took it as a symbolic gesture. The shaman was making sure the bloodline of the Celtic Iceni people continued past the deaths of the tribal king, queen and warriors.

It was as if Magior was using his magic orb to send Isolda's spirit into the future.
