Beat The Devil ?

The best episode in the series. Hell yeah!
There is one question that really bugged me: the subtitles that appeared out of nowhere, was it a trademark from Tony or what?
By the way, this mini film is very cool that I almost laughed to death. Pure freshness from Hollywood!

I don't think the random subtitles are a trademark, but they were a nice stylistic element that Tony Scott included. I think it works well with a short film, but I can imagine it getting really boring really fast in a full length feature film.

My fave in the series is Star or perhaps Hostage;)

I always assumed that they put subtitles in so people knew what James Brown was saying. I could understand most of his statements, but some were a bit harder to grasp. When he said "We didn't address the aging aspect", I really though that he said something like "We didn't address the asians respects".
