At the beginning of the film the first deaths happen from the rebels right?
So here is my question.. Why?
They were against killing kids so why do it?
Was it to thin the numbers? Kinda break them? Or did I miss something? (I had a problem with the subtitles so I'm not 100% sure)

They didnt know they were "kids" until later on. When a sniper spotted they had those collars on.
