One of Leo's best films ever!

Now I know that Leo has been in a ton of great films. But this film really took me by surprise. At first, I was under the assumption that this film was only going to be about airplanes...which sounded boring. I didn't know anything about Howard Hughes before watching it. Basically, this film is about a super wealthy mentally ill man, who suffers from a form of severe hypochondria and OCD. Leo delivered an excellent performance. I would say this film is highly underrated.

Yes, HE should have gotten the Oscar for this

It's oddly kind of disappeared and doesn't get talked about much these days. There was such hooplah of hype around it back in day.

No matter how fat he gets or how much facial hair he grows, he still seems juvenile. Casting him as Howard Hughes was ridiculous.

I must politely disagree, I think Leo gave a standout performance.
OK, he looked a bit young but I'm rewatching it now and Leo is delivering power and madness in every scene.

I think it's a brilliant performance and a terrific movie.
