Acting

I just saw the preview for this (on the 'Scarecrow Gone Wild' DVD--that shows how much I love bad acting) and it looks like some of the worst acting in movie history. I want it so bad! Anyone know where I can get a copy?

The acting is definitely bad and over the top! You can find it in any Hollywood Video and some of the 20/20 Video stores. Movie Gallery might have it, too.

In fact it had terrible acting, terrible editing, terrible everything! BUT the main chick did have a great body on her. The coroner was a sicko, but it was his line "cracker ass cracker" that was unexpected and very funny. The mayor didn't care about his daughter at all, so he deserved to "get the axe". This whole movie shouls have got the axe except for the main chick. She could (SHOULD) have just rode her bike around naked and I would have been happy. lol

Dear Mr "FCA1975", does your "If you watch it, they'll make a sequel to ruin it." concern "Aquanoids"?

In our country the advertisement says that it is a gripping horrible shocking movie with great visuals. Are they lying (taking into account the low rating on IMDb)? And one more question: is it a family movie or a movie for teenagers only? Of course I can just walk to a local video-store, buy the DVD, and watch it all myself, but Iā€™m a bit lazy for that.

Thanks in advance.

Oh no, that is just something I made up from a movie called Field of Dreams and my own silly creativity. Honestly in regards to this film, I hope a sequel is NOT made! It was really bad IMO. The quote (IMO)actually applies to movies like Police Academy, which got worse and worse with each sequel.

There's nothing silly in that line actually. So, they should make up a sequel to Aquanoids (2003) while they've got nothing to lose (money does not count while computer effects are cheap nowadays)!
Agreed?

Honestly, I would not have made the 1st movie, let alone a sequel! haha To answer your first questions, the movie had nudity & other sex-relate scenes, so I would not let any children watch it. Also, there are a lot of movies that mention the best or most exciting parts of the film. Take a look at The Return ā€“ some of the scenes in the trailer were not in the movie, they showed the very best (and only) good scenes, and it came off as a horror ā€“ it was not. I am talking about the movie with Sarah Michelle Gellar, not the brilliant Russian movie of the same name (Vozvrashcheniye). I saw that movie and felt that it was one of the best movies I have seen in awhile. And I also loved the first two installment of the Night Watch trilogy (Night Watch & Day Watch); so I have been really impressed with what is coming out from the far east.

Just a few suggestions. You should also have a look at "Kin-Dza-Dza" (1986), "Deja vu" (1988), and "Mimino" (1977). These are our best of the best.
Will be interesting to know your opinion later.

Happy New Year, by the way.

Happy new year to you as well! What was the 2nd one? That is a weird title . lol Also, I see there is a short and a movie called Mimino (I assume you mean the movie). I will try to find these at the local video rental store.

The New Year has come but we'll celebrate Christmas on the 7th of January. Do you know that? Anyhow, you still have some time to be back with good wishes.

Some corrections have been made in my previous message - now you can see exactly what was meant. If you will not find such movies in your local store - come to our place some day.

And one more thing for your guidance: I know that "Deja vu" was officially released with English subtitles.

Well, that's about all. Nice to have a bit of chit-chat with a foreign English-speaking person.
