would they <the writer's> please give roisin some story line's.
i don't know the whole story of the infighting going on behind the scene's. but it is us' the viewer's who are missing out on seeing one of our favourite character's.
this woman could be the bet lynche of river city.
and i didn't meen that in a nasty way, but as in cult status!
i can only assume the folk behind the scene's felt she was becoming 'too' popular or something.
whatever it is, get over it and get her back on screen 'NOW'.

now she's off on another trip for 3 month's. would it be the s.s. titanic by any chance ?
me think's they're out too kill her off.

they've given her sod all story line's in a year. she then get's a few scene's with the iona/marty stuff and then she's off on a world cruise. who did she piss off behind the scenes ?
all i heard was that the writer's wanted too take her character in a whole different direction and joyce wasnt happy about it. so seem's they're getting back at her with less plot involvement's and air time befitting her character.

It's a shame, she's an excellent character and her accent has me LOLing.

I recently watched an old Taggart ep and she was in it for about 2 seconds. The accent and the facial expressions were exactly the same!

i so know what taggart episode your on about.
dreadul actress she may be, but, it work's....on some strange level.
i knew a guy who worked behind the scenes on rivercity and he said she was a comic but no actress. so if she had any important dialogue too say, they'd get a 3rd person in too say it for her.
but again, it worked and we love her for it.

she played a taxi controler and the guy came into the shop and shot the fish tank and window.
