Seriously ye, I like it. Its lame, but you kno, that ads to the humour. In much the way sci fi tv show Lexx became popular.

i live in the UK and this is shown at 3 in the morning
when it first aired on iTV-2 at 7.00 pm, i thought it was briliant! Its so zany and the situations they get themselves into are so crazy and have hilarious results, ok the jokes are pretty lame but the stories are good! i agree with Mr Anderson, the lameness adds to the 'were laughing at you, not with you' humor! I think the problem with this programme is that they targetted it at the wrong audience and wrong time slot. if it lost some of its more racier, cruder jokes it would do great at a kids show, like a 5pm time slot on Nickelodeon, Disney or CiTV (Childrens iTV) it would be great, and it would ammuse a wider range age, i mean if crappy Kenan and Kel can keep a *beep* show like that on the air for 7 years, im sure the Pitts can do it! This show isnt as bad as people say, if you like the simpsons you'll love this!
oh and does anyone know weather this will be released on DVD for those that actually like it, i'd buy it so then i dont have to stay up till like, 3am in the morning to watch it! and maybe then we could see the other 6 un-aired episodes. Not even any one on eBay is selling them, anyone have a clue???

The reason why I love this show is because it DELIBERATELY jokes about sitcoms. Everybody knows sitcoms have bad jokes, acting and storylines - hey, look at Friends.
It manages to take a strike at the stereotypical sitcom while still being dead funny.
Me too, great show. I hope it ends up on DVD soon.

The Pitts was an excellent comedy. Stupid, sure. It was MEANT to be. It was a satire. And actually, despite being "stupid" it was also very smart, the more you watch, the more you can pick out its subtleties. I miss this show.
